Hotel Danrokan, Kofu (Yamanashi)

During my stay at Danrokan, I tried both the American and Japanese breakfasts. The American breakfast was decent, though the eggs were uniquely colored. The Japanese breakfast, with its dried salmon and raw egg, was truly a cultural experience. I appreciated the silver pot and white-gloved service that added a touch of elegance to the meal.

My room at Danrokan was spacious with a charming, homey feel. The ample wooden elements throughout, including the furniture and decorations, set a cozy atmosphere. Despite the age of the hotel, I found the room clean and well maintained, making it a comfortable place to unwind after exploring the city.

I made use of the onsen during my stay, which, while small, featured proper mineral water. The ambiance was simple yet serene, providing a relaxing escape after a long day of sightseeing. It was a nice touch to experience this authentic aspect of Japanese culture.

The bathroom facilities in my room were clean and functional, which made for a pleasant experience. Despite being a bit dated, everything was in working order, and I had no issues during my stay. I appreciated the attention to cleanliness, which is always a top priority for me.
